The Precautions and Disclaimers

Users shall understand the following precautions and use the teaching materials at their own risk.
For the following contents, the explanation in Japanese has priority.

1. Precautions

Cultivation system development is divided into hardware and software. The precautions for hardware development are as follows.
● Clean up unnecessary items in the development work area to prevent injuries.
● Be sure to wear protective equipment when working to prevent injuries.
● Use tools and measuring instruments suitable for the work content.
● Before starting development, learn how to use tools and measuring instruments.
● Before starting development, resolve any questions regarding the work content.
● In principle, prepare parts and materials before starting development.
The precautions for software development are as follows.
● Save a backup of the program data under development in an external storage device as appropriate.
● Images, videos, and text data should not infringe the copyrights of third parties.
● When debugging a program, do it without connecting hardware to prevent accidents, damage, and injuries.
The main cause of injury is human error. Human error is human-based and cannot be eliminated.
The following three items are important for how to minimize human error.
(1) Before starting work, practice how to use tools and measuring instruments and become accustomed to handling them.
(2) Be sure to wear protective equipment when working to prevent injuries.
(3) Start work after fully confirming the work contents.

(1) is to prevent erroneous operation and mishandling. It is necessary to master the basic operation and handling in advance. For example, there are tools for stripping wires, tools for attaching terminals to wires, procedures for attaching insulating tubes to terminals, and procedures for soldering.
(2) is to protect yourself from injury. In hardware development, cutting tools and soldering tools are used, so protective equipment is required. Be sure to wear protective goggles to prevent eye injuries, especially when working. Wearing protective goggles can also prevent foreign objects from entering the eye unexpectedly. For example, in soldering work, a soldering iron is used to melt the solder. Be sure to wear protective goggles as you will lose your eyesight if the melted solder gets into your eyes.
(3) is to prevent erroneous procedures due to mistakes in memory and understanding. It is to reconfirm the implementation contents in advance to avoid erroneous procedures. The points to reconfirm are the overall workflow, points that are easy to make mistakes, and points that are easy to get injured.
Even with these things in mind, unexpected things can happen. As a mindset, it is important to respond calmly when an unexpected event occurs. In addition, a habit of preventing injuries is to keep the work area tidy. When working, clean up unnecessary tools and materials from the work area. For example, in soldering work, the soldering iron gets very hot. If the soldering iron touches flammable substances (paper, cloth, alcohol, etc.), it may cause a fire, so keep the flammable substances away from the surroundings.
